The stitch up begins.

Hilarious listening to the 9 commentators. That was pathetic.

What did they say? Why do you have the Ch9 commentators?

They were saying no knock on and taking the piss out of it being replayed so much. Then a big ohhhh no when he said knock on. I'm in Melbourne watching on 9now.

Yeah my mate just text me about it because I'm always giving Gus shit for going on and on about stuff - this time I finally agree with him.

You on holiday? You on holiday? If you want an awesome dinner then you want to get to Supernormal and get the lamb and flatbread. 😉

Nah here for work but chur for the suggestion!

Definitely go then if you're on works dime. It's my favourite place to eat in Melbourne, and Melbourne has heaps of awesome places to eat.

Bones

@nepia it's a ten minute walk from where I am in southbank. Ace! Cheers heaps

mariner4life

Tom Trob... Tom Trojb... Tom Trov... that manly winger is a dopey looking fluffybunny isn't he?

Nepia

Kiwis are on fire.

All those first half tackles the Kangaroos made look to be taking effect now.

Bones

Haha Gus. "That's brilliant football from the warriors"

Bones

15 years since the kiwis last beat Aus in Auckland. When did the ABs last lose in Auckland?

mariner4life

Big moment. We're all over them still, but now points are coming.

ACT Crusader

Smart finish from Rapana to get airborne to avoid being pushed over touch line.

SJ has had a huge second half.

WTF - sticky bum time now.

Siam

4 mins left, wary of these Aussie fluffybunnies...

It's like Eric Grothe in the 80s all over again.

mariner4life

Aaaand boom goes the dynamite

ACT Crusader

Squeaky bum time fullas.

Fire up Proc

Nepia

How the fuck did Frizell not get penalised there for diving on the tackled player?

Hahaha, I thought I had that a little bit wrong.

Donsteppa

How to make hard work of an easy win! 🙂

ACT Crusader

The crowd has found voice and yeeeessssssssssssssssssss

sparky

Fantastic won for the Kiwis. Good stuff!

Nepia

We'll take that win. So, that's what the Kiwis look like when they have a coach.

ACT Crusader

All the Wallaby superlatives come out - “a famous victory”

No Quarter

Well that was a long fucking way from the WC. Fucking awesome, suck that Kangaroos.

ACT Crusader

Right and left edges, sort it out and we’ll look alright.

Wouldn't want to be Kidwell right now.

Yep. The pack are the business. I was impressed with Liu who I clearly don't watch enough. Even Adam Blair came on and put in a decent shift reminiscent of his early career. And they give man of the match to a nancy boy back. WTF.

Looking forward to the England tour now as we usually get better as we tour.

Nepia

Looks like Manu was doing a haka with his family in the stands.

kiwiinmelb

good game , enjoyed that ,

team seemed to respond well to the new coach

canefan

A great win from a young kiwis team. The post Smith Slater era might be good fun

Yep, before Kidwell took over ,

we were actually having a dream run against the Aussies and were the number 1 rated side , something I have never seen in my lifetime ,

this shouldnt be as much of an upset as people think , the talent is still there .

Siam

Good highlights package, and dare I say it reasonable commentary from those that usually talk tripe, especially about the Smith no try

Crazy Horse

Much needed result for the Kiwis, but I do have some concerns. The Aussies had an off day and, like the Warriors always seem to do, they allowed the Aussies to score just before half time. This along with the Kiwis almost letting the Aussies snatch it at the end suggests to me this may only be a one off. Hope I'm wrong.

Maybe. I think the Kiwis especially in attack still looked a bit disjointed. They seem to have a history of taking longer to gel than Australia. I think if we played Australia again after the England tour the gap would be wider.
