Origin 3 tonight. NSW very short favourites

Qld Premier has done her bit by not only locking out all the filthy mexicans from Sydney, but also allowing 40,000 in to Suncorp. Atmosphere should be hostile, and hopefully we get another stink or two early on.

Origin really is the world's premier sporting event (for midweek stubbies).

especially for mid week drinks in our part of the world..as a filthy mexican I do miss beers in QLD though

We've been moving north for a generation. I was at the Caxton for game two in 2000 as the Blues smashed the second half. Queenslanders were not even sullenly silent as we cheered on.

At least I know the game is on this week, I only found out about game 1 when the comedian at the show mentioned it, and didn't realise game 2 was on until people were discussing it the next day, although I should have figured it out because I saw Fletch in Barangaroo surrounded by a bunch of plastic lipped slappers boarding a cruise boat.

Brutal first 20 minutes, love that crowd. Can’t see Teddy passing the HIA. Not the highest quality game but entertaining in its aggressiveness so far

12-6 to the two headed cane toads at half time. Looking the most likely in the second quarter. Munster and Grant starting to take control on top of Qld impressive defence.

Queens land certainly deserved it tonight but how was that not a penalty try. Harry grant is a star and NSW were lost without their star Tedesco

Last night just showed everything in league is your forwards.

Last wednesday the NSW forwards rolled Qld, and playing off the front foot Cook, Cleary and Walker looked a million bucks as they rean around doing pretty much what ever they wanted.

Last night was the complete opposite up front, and so it was DCE, Munster and even Friend running amok. Grant got a dream introduction.

I think I read he has brought property on the Goldie, I suspect given he hasn't called time and refenced Slater and Thurston as knowing when their body was ready, I think he may go around again.. but perhaps one year somewhere..maybe with the Titans

I think he has already made a statement he wont play on at the storm , doesnt want to stand in the way of grant and Brandan Smith any longer , ,
Some are reading into it ,there is the possibility he may play a season somewhere else , but its hard to imagine that

you can't on one hand keep pushing the line you don't do anything for the attention or the spotlight

and then on the other hand:
release a book while you are still playing
have that book serialised and drip fed through the media
make ambiguous statements about your future over and over again

Although he has assembled a pretty good spine in Grant/Bsmith , Hughes -Munster , papenhuyzen anyway
