And of course it wouldn't be the NRL if there wasn't a bad news story on the eve of the season starting. Bronson Xerri has been done for drugs. Of course, proven shit fluffybunny Paul Gallen blames ASADA because he is a horrible human being.

Also, have you seen the Warriors team? That forward pack would get towelled up at state league level. Nailed on for the spoon. Shit coach. Shit squad. No home games.

Clearly when you slap a team with a wet bus ticket for doing dodgy shit it has little effect on them. You'd think that of all teams Cronulla would be the one wanting its players to be clean as fudge.

Along with Gallen, Gould is saying "he feels shattered" for Xerri. You should feel angry at him you dick head.

I don't understand why Xerri went down this path, he was likely going to make it on talent anyway.

The worst thing about the Warriors this year is the coach and management have a get out of jail free card.

If the pre-game promo is anything to go by, the broadcaster is on board with my idea to make league brutal again. I lost count of the blokes they showed getting sparked right the fuck out

They've got crowd sounds going on the broadcast, makes it much more watchable.

I like the 6 again for ruck penalties. Much quicker game already.

@mariner4life hoping SR Aotearoa will follow suit with the crowd noises.

These hits sound so much more intense without the crowd.

Haven't watched league for years but this game has been thoroughly entertaining so far.

Game opening up and like that both teams are throwing it around and offloading.
