@Bovidae look, i don't know the inner workings, but this has to be a good move, considering Iro has been as assistant there since 2012. That's four head coaches for those playing at home.

@mariner4life The article says that both Iro and Jones will likely be retained in other roles. Iro in player development/pathways with the PI players.

@Bovidae I can imagine the amount of wringing of hands in the Pt Chev area right about now.

After the initial knee jerk of losing Jones, especially, and people reading on that he is actually being retained by the club. We should hopefully see that it's for the better.

part of me would still like to see Jazz fail the HIA so he gets onto the bench. Sure he cant play 80 minutes, but even a solid 20 would be great for him

i fucking hope so. If Gavin Cooper is playing i expect them to lift for him, a club legend bowing out. I'm not sure i see enough pride in teh Broncos to avoid the spoon. Who can tell though, the Cowboys have been pretty abject under Hannay as well.

Actually I think Jazz is one of our better players, he has an ability like John Bateman (Raiders) for someone who is not the biggest player to get out of tackles and create play. Its the base and power statistics that also helped him get interchange player of the year, the other year. You need someone like this in your playing 17, (not necessarily starting), but has impact regardless through a match.

My comment was based around, just wanting to see Turner play again..

yep. He was the master of the league threads. Along with @aucklandwarlord they owned the Warriors part of the Board.

There was another poster from a while back that had the Warriors logo as their profile pic and was good value on the league threads. Can’t recall the posters name

Cows condemn the Broncos to their first spoon

To add injury to insult they lose arguably their best player (easily their best this year) to an ACL which mean most of next season as well

Darius Boyd says he wants to still be involved in the game when he stops playing, judging by which I thought he retired a few years ago.
