I wouldn't rule out the Roosters just yet, although they rejigged their whole play around him. Given it is so early in the season I still think you need to just be close on the table, as long as you get a run going into the last few weeks. Roosters didn't look like themselves even before the injury either in that game, distracted by some Jai Arrow sideshow perhaps. Still Sam Walker would not be the first 18 year old to play beyond his years and given the amount of injuries sustained by all teams on the weekend, I still have the roosters in with a shot.
I personally would not rule out any of Souths , Roosters, Penrith, Parra, Storm ..and occasionally some other teams on their day.
Cows did look average, medically retiring Morgan either isn't a bad move if he goes for it, as it frees up some salary cap and a player. Still I would rather be a cows supporter than down the road at the Broncos right now.
As for the warriors, finally got some luck with the try off the forward pass, don't know how many of them I have seen us lose with that going the other way. Absolutely astounded though by our big wingers who look unfit and constantly caught out of position with very little effort to get involved either. They need an RTS fitness session. BMM starting to get fitter and looking dangerous, just need to fix that porous defense, should not have been chasing 21 points at half time. Still they will get confidence out of that.
