Hardly. My tips are usually dart throwing but when I went to do them this week I struggled to throw the darts given the unknowns around player availability eg the Poo with Aaron Smith would be a very different proposition to the Poo without him.

Best score of a tricky tipping weekend was Delicatessen with 49 who managed to pick all 5 results which was no mean feat. Higgins and Dice had 47 with Mikey07, Mikedogz, Hooroo, Stargazer & Stockcar86 all 40+. Higgins now has a 7 point lead over Stagazer with Mikey07 up to 3rd and Dice up to 4th. Dogmeat had the weekend low of 16 which is also a season low score.
The teams comp is splitting between the teams with a full squad and those struggling to make a team. Northland are missing @justin77 @Gunner @muddyriver @KiwiMurph Harbour-Auckland are missing @Tim & Fiamacho and BOP are missing @sportboy
Wellington have won 4 from 4 and lead by 3 points from Counties-Waikato. South Island and Hawke's Bay are the others in the top 4.

Stockcar86 top scored with 64, missed the Northland win but 3 correct margins for the other games plus highest and lowest scorer correct. FarNthHayden picked all 4 results (even had Northland winning 17+) and scored 62. 50+ for Hurrycanes and Plastered Peni on what was a difficult week to tip - Langakali with a season low 11. Higgins is 6 ahead of Plastered Peni at the top with Stargazer falling to 3rd and Hydro11 up to 4th.
5 wins from 5 has Wellington 4 clear at the top from South Island with a 5 way battle for the 4 play-off spots.

7 picked 4/4 with the top scorers Paj & Langakali with 62 and they also had Manawatu as top scoring team. Bay Imports broke the season's worst score record with just 3 points - 0/4 tipped. Higgins retains his 6 point lead over Plastered Peni as they both scored 50 and they are pulling away from Stargazer in 3rd.
Wellington are now 6/6 for the season and clear at the top but the next 4 teams all have a 4/2 win/loss record and one of them will miss out on the play-offs after next weekend.

Unfortunately it is probably a record - mitigating circumstance is that it was only 4 games - with a full 7 games, surely you would have fluked picking a result! If only you had picked Otago 9-16, you would have scored the perfect zero .....

Should we include the "friendlies" in the updated fixture list in the tipping or not? Thoughts? If teams can treat it like a pre-season game and roll a whole new 15 out at half time, the score would be anything.

When there are only 4 matches, it is possible to move up fast - as long as you can tip them correctly.
Victor was the best of the weekend with 4/4 (the only player to do it) and moves up to 4th overall. Also moving up fast is Paj with 51 and the only one to pick both top and lowest scorer. He is now up to 5th after being 23rd 2 weeks ago. Winger and Hydro11 both plunged down from 4th place to out of the top 10. OomPB the lowest scorer this weekend with just 8 points, TR, FarNthHayden & Broughie with 11.
Higgins still leads Plastered Peni by 6 with Stargazer another 6 points back.
In the 1st leg of the Cup, Hydro11 turned up late and goes into the 2nd leg with a 34-16 deficit.
The round robin is over in the teams competition and the semi-finals will be

I doubled the scores for the 3 games that took place and didn't include category picks. 6 players scored 50 points (Victor, Paj, Stockcar86, Mikedogz, Joan and Mary, Crucial. Higgins still leads by 4 from Victor who is 6 ahead of Paj. Plastered Peni, Stockcar86 and Stargazer in 4th, 5th, 6th are all within 18 of the lead so still all to play for with 2 weeks to go.
Counties-Waikato and Hawke's Bay will compete in the final over the next 2 weekends as Counties-Waikato defeated Wellington in a big upset.

That is weird - and the top 14 are all from those 2 teams plus Wellington. Which makes Counties-Waikato's achievement in making the final even more remarkable.
