Finally got round to getting my tips in, looks like about another six or eight tippers still to get theirs in, including Winger. If he fails to meet the referee's whistle that will give a chance to us all! Looks like there could be a fair bit of carnage on the score sheets this round with both games looking like they could go either way so getting on the wrong side of the results could see single figure scores being recorded. Fingers crossed that you are on the right side of the results and good luck to us all in this challenging round.

Picking both winners was tricky and only 6 tippers managed it. Stockcar86 picked both margins as well but blew out on the other 8 selections meaning that Corkscrew was top scorer with 58, there was 52 for Danny ahead of Stockcar86 with 50.
Kruse was next with 48 moving him up to 2nd overall just 2 behind Winger. Stockcar86 is up to 3rd with Hurrycanes in 4th. Waynes World missed the first game and was low scorer with 7. Dogmeat the lowest with 2 tips, with just 11.

A very low scoring weekend as nobody picked both results and most people didn't get either. Top score was DK with 40 by picking the Canes and being accurate with try totals. Yeetyah had 39, Victor 37 and only Mikedogz and Danny scored 30 or more.
Winger still keeps the lead as none of the top 3 picked a result but Victor is up to 4th and Danny and DK lurk around the top 10.
In the Cup, J77, Victor, Stockcar86, Mikey07, Donsteppa, Nevorian, Antipodean and Danny made it through to the quarter-finals.

Not sure we've ever had a game where nearly everyone has gone Home 17+ and it ended Away 17+. Not many points from the Highlanders win unless you picked them to score 3 tries while being thrashed. Solid scoring for the Blues win unless of course you picked the Canes in which case you're probably one of those who scored in single figures.
Best of the weekend was Dogmeat with 41 who was almost spot on with the Blues game (and did get the Highlanders with 3 tries). 30 was a decent score for the weekend. A bit of shuffling of places at the top but Winger still leads by 12 from Kruse with Victor moving up to 3rd.
Worst of the weekend was Delicatessen with just 6, Yeetyaah and ACT Crusader scored 7 and 8.
The TSF Semi-Finals are played over 2 legs with the final being over the last 2 weekends of the regular season.

I had an almost perfect week to score 71 and shoot to the top of the table, leading Victor by 8 who is a point ahead of previous leader Winger. DK scored 65 to rise to 4th just another point back from Winger, Plastered Peni 62 to move up to 5th. Mikedogz the other 60+ score, 63 but still back in 20th place.
In the Cup, semi-final first leg victories for J77, 36-28 against Mikey07 and for Crucial leading Victor 53-43.

For some reason I picked the Highlanders in Superbru - to be honest I thought I had gone Highlanders in TSF Tipping as well so it was a pleasant surprise when I hadn't!

Time to tip everyone - first game is tonight

After last week took real skill to pick both games, this week was much more of a lottery - yeah right. Anyway Hurrycanes picked both games with margins to score 63 and top score by 15 and also hit the top of the table - 16 ahead with 2 weeks to go. With all games so tight, it is still all to play for though. If you picked 1/2 you had a decent week and went up in the table. Stockcar86 is up to 3rd, Crucial is up to 7th and Corkscrew and Donsteppa are up to 11th. Plenty picked neither game and fell accordingly.
J77 squeaked past Mikey07 by a single point and will play Crucial in the final of the TSF Cup - he thrashed Victor to get through. This weekend and next weekend count for the final.
Finally if you want to know who has scored the most 5 pointers for category picks - either picking the exact number of tries for a team or within 1 of a team's points total - here are the best so far

With the title in his hands, Hurrycanes chose to pick the Blues to win which has given everyone else some hope. He still leads but is only 4 ahead of me. Then it is Winger 2 points behind and another 7 down to Crucial in 4th. Nobody had both results and margins but a few were close with Crusaders 9-16 and Chiefs 1-8. One of those was Triple T who top scored with 59 and is up to 6th overall.

Had a peek at the tips from the top 4. This could get interesting. All four have gone for the same first tip and quite close on points/tries. For the second game the top 2 have gone for a close one with the next two going for 9-16 (all for the same winner). Again the points/tries are similar but different enough that they could make a difference.
Could be a very close scoreboard at the end of this or we all have it wrong and someone will come storming up the ladder and zooming past.
