Shit! This is traditionally the point where I crash and burn.

<p>2 games to go and plenty of tippers are still 5/5 with results. But only the runaway leader Hydro is 5/5 with margins, 50/50 so far and his current lead is a massive 31 over Hooroo in 2nd who is doing nicely with 45/50. Plenty of close games in the teams comp but the SunJags have a 4 point lead and the Barbarians trail by 3 which could see the SunJags increase their lead after tomorrow. </p>

<p>He is quite remarkable so far, 5 of 8 scores over 50 and almost 50% picking for correct result and margin. 31 ahead of Redeye who is also scoring well with Hooroo, Crucial and Hurrycanes well over 50 to make a breakaway top 5. </p>

<p>The Sunjags keep winning but all the other teams are still in with a chance - it is a great season as all teams have been full every week so lots of close games.</p>

<p>The absentee  Mikedogz must be unknowingly smiling with satisfaction with his default Away 17+ running  for him. He is the sole tipper to have a Sharks win recorded in their favour.</p>

<p>We changed that rule due to people actually scoring well without tipping - now you get 5 points fewer than the lowest tipper of the week.</p>

<p>Nobody has more than 3/5 so far, margins tough to pick also and a few only have 1/5. Naturally Hydro is the leading scorer with 25, the only one to go Tahs 17+. Sportboy on 24, rewarded for being the only picker of the Sunwolves. On 7 are TR, Phooey, ACT and Timslim (who missed the first 2 games). </p>

<p>Not much change in the individual standings - for once Hydro could only pick one margin but still tipped 7/8. Nobody got 8/8 (Stormers v Tahs caught a lot out) but there were plenty of 7s. FarNthHayden the best of the week with 4 margin picks of his 7 tips. All the 5 behind Hydro in the table gained on him but previous 2nd and 3rd placers, Hooroo and Crucial, both had bad weeks and now sit 7th and 8th. </p>

<p>For the teams, wins for both Blues and both Canes teams and given all of them started the season poorly, the ladder is closing right up. 4 more games before the play-offs start and all teams can still make the top 4 although South Island are on a downward trend. Just a single point separates each of positions 4-8, Blues A are 2 ahead in 3rd, the Barbarians 2 further ahead in 2nd. Basically any team that can finish with more wins than defeats should be in with a chance.</p>

<p>Not such a predictable run for the remaining games. The key was picking the Highlanders which 5 people did and the Sharks who were backed by 7. Nobody combined the 2 to pick all 7 though - best on 6/7 were Hooroo, Rico#1, Victor, Bones, Midge and Virgil. Margins were tricky for all with Brumbies/Sharks/Force just making the 17+ and Waratahs and Blues just missing out. Nobody picked the Force as top scorers but quite a few backed the Reds as lowest.</p>

<p>Hooroo the best of the weekend to bounce back into 2nd spot. For once Hydro had a bad weekend and all the chasers gained on him - but he still leads by 38. In the teams comp, only 10 points separate top from bottom as the SunJags and Barbarians are stalling. Blues A lost 4 in a row earlier in the season but haven't lost since and are 2 behind the SunJags who still lead. </p>

<p>Website is live now. JK and Langakali topped all scorers with 60, both picking 7/7 with 5 margins correct. With the Waratahs and Lions blowouts tough to pick, 5 maximums is pretty good. Also bagging 7/7 were Hurrycanes, Redeye, KP, Paj, Joan and Mary and Richie. Hydro still leads by a comfortable 32 points from Hurrycanes and Redeye - he hasn't been dominating like before but there has been no consistent challenger to break down his lead as yet.</p>

<p>In the TSF Cup, Stagazer will play JK in one semi-final and Hurrycanes plays Tim in the other. Joan and Mary the unluckiest of the quarter-finalists, running into a red-hot Hurrycanes and losing with a score of 56.</p>

<p>In the teams comp, the Sunjags, Blues A and BOP Chiefs recorded wins and those 3 are in good position to make the semis with just 2 weeks to go. In the key game, Canes Black beat the Barbarians to move above them in 4th - level on points but with 1 point more scored. All of the bottom 3 will need 2 bonus point wins to even have a chance of top 4.</p>

The closest match between the Sth Island and the Hurricanes Black sides is probably the most in danger of being changed when KP tallies up the official scores given that I make the raw totals to be Sth Island  58.4 Hurricanes Black 58.6 so even the slightest miscalculation on my part could see a change! The fate of the fourth semi finalist rests on this match.</span></span></p>
