A shame cos he sure looks the part in terms of being a big bruiser to compete with Bok/English packs. Massive human being up close when I saw him and the rest of the Blues on a flight earlier this year.

Didn’t get a chance to have breakfast with him or any of his teammates but he took up a lot of room when walking down the aisle of a plane.

the Bok away are different to the Bok at home, and while they will always lift for an AB match, and the physicality will need to be top notch from us...there will now be lingering doubts (in thier own minds too) about how good they really are, after we smoked Aus, and they have been beaten by Aus, twice...sure it isnt that straight forward, or maybe thier coach has been targetting this match for 4 years

Keep the ball for various sets of 5+ phases and we'll score more than they are capable of with their current game plan

Those bombs are such an insanely low percentage play, I'm astounded anyone thinks they're a good idea? Even if you get the ball back, best case scenario is you've made about 10m? Actually scoring from them is very rare.

The Boks will lift for us, the first 40 will be brutal. I expect them to run out of gas in the 2nd 40 though, but we'll have to play well and take our chances. The Boks are not Argentina, they know how to adjust to the game situation and get under the other teams skin etc. They've got some wiley old campaigners in their side.

24C and 68% humidity is the forecast at kickoff. Expect a high tempo game to run them off their feet.

(*Considering the love he gets on here Foster and Co don't seem to whine that much IMO but who knows if the team starts playing badly. Only change I'd have is Jordan for Bridge. I just think Jordan's positioning (why he keeps scoring tries and making breaks) is better than Bridge at the moment. IMO Bridge still hasn't regained his form from pre-injury. He seems to spend alot of time trying to run over people and cutting back infield, like he doesn't trust his top end speed? His aerial game particularly on defence continues to be top notch.
