@ACT-Crusader lol, I dont like either of the supporter groups, but the sharks players seem to be a better bunch now that Gallen is gone. Graham still lurks though. Bunnies full of people everyone loves to hate
I will support Parra for the other one just so Ricky throws another tantrum about how they were robbed
What’s wrong with Graham? He’s always seemed one of the more likeable bogan rugby players.
yeah, when the Sharks were absolutely packed with grubs like Fifita, Gallen, Ennis, Flanagan, Jimmy Maloney (who i actually liked), that tattoed winger who kept getting fired by everyone, i thought Graham was one of the least offensive.

How do I register a down vote? Lol
You are in a very very small minority (an island of 1) on here wanting to see Sticky celebrate any winning….
he'll still whinge that the Raiders were dudded by the ref even if they win the penalty count and get every 50/50 call and win the game. weak gutted dogs everywhere

@Nepia Gallen clone and disciple , haven't forgiven him for previous years of infamy, used to be one of the dirtier players about (although in last 2 years he has spent most of his time injured), so not up to it as much lately
Hmmm not for me. Thug is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
@bayimports said in NRL 2022:
@Nepia absolutely some people actually like Gallen too
i call bullshit
@mariner4life ha ha, well probably not on this board but I suspect an army of Cronulla fans would say otherwise
Kiwi League world cup squad ... seriously SJ?

seriously, yous got what yous wanted
If he makes it and it’s a massive IF, SJ would probably play the house down, knowing the Warriors luck….
But looking at that wider squad I would take Martin, Foran, Nikorima, Hughes, Brown all ahead of him to play at halfback or 5/8

absolutely him and Kodi making up numbers, but was just shocked to even see him listed.
Happy to hear both Timoko and Kris are kiwis, both great young talent
@bayimports watch SJ train the house down and make the cut on the back of “experience”
Just looking at that squad, man we have some really talented forwards and a couple of genuinely world class backs.
Didn't know about Kris. Real improver this year so great news! Timoko very strong leg drive and will get better too.
@bayimports Kris is a NZer? I thought he was an Aussie. Edit: Didn't know there was an extra page to this thread with people saying the same stuff.
No problems with SJ being there, if Hughes goes down we don't have that much depth in the halves. I don't agree with Acts ranking of halves ....

i dont know if he was ranking them, I thought he was just saying he would take all of them ahead of him lol? I wouldn't use them in that order either. For me starting halves combo is Hughes and Brown
Yeah I had no idea about either centre, at least when we are talking about warriors potentially finding decent centres in future, we know where to poach from!
@bayimports leave those 6 kiwis at the raiders alone!
Nothing to worry about - they're NZers, the Warriors have their quota already, they'll be all about journeyman Aussies to fill out the squad now.
And yet Chris Rattue says no real kiwi interest or involvement tonight......... As much as in a Warriors match tonight....
am i right that the winner plays the Cowboys next week?
In that case i am supporting fights, injuries, and the ref
Rugby not the only issue with the video ref
Sharks robbed by a guy offside who played no part in the play but technically...
two one-sided scorelines and we are off to prelims
The Eels travel to what will be a hot Qld Country Bank Stadium friday night. Good Parra was really good in smashing the Raiders. If good Parra come again it will take a huge Cowboys effort to get them up. It will be the best crowd though, Townsville will be absolutely heaving.
Then it's GF rematch as the Bunnies get another crack at Penrith at what ever they call the Olympic Stadium these days. You would think the ruthless efficiency of Penrith will be too much here, but what the Bunnies did to outflank the Panthers late in the season was pretty good (Penrith still had enough ball and field position to win 2 games).
I'm taking my kids down for the GF so i have everything crossed the Cowboys get up on Friday.

You would think Souths might have a few people out injured/judiciary this week and have been brutal in contact for the last few weeks. Although they are playing well, the bonus is you know that the winner of Cows/Parra is going to play a team bashed up.
You should be favourites in the other game, but like you say, you just don't know which Parra will turn up. Good luck
@mariner4life good luck this weekend bro. Hoping for a Cowboys win.
I’ve been very surprised at how well this Moses/Brown combination has gone for the Eels. They actually complement each other better than I thought it would.

Shocking call from ref there. A week foward
On replay it actually looked okay because Moses was in front of the 30m line and then Papali’i was behind it when he caught it. Looked a mile forward in real time.
Geez that Cotter is good player. He’s not a big dude either for a guy that plays prop. Has that insane no fear attitude about him.
@Mackerzzzz said in NRL 2022:
Taumalolo is a freak
And if he was playing rugby he’d be staring down a 6 week ban!
Commiserations Cowboys. Seemed like a decent atmosphere so hope the @mariner4life whanau had a good night.
That Shaun Lane is some player. He knows how to use his size and get between the tacklers. Then he has skill to know what to do from a half break or offload.

I hate sport. Sport sucks
I actually had a sinking feeling late in that match thinking about the Warriors and how so very far off we are from playing at this level of footy.
It’s been an amazing season for your team. Whilst disappointing to lose, I’d say they got further than many predicted.
I just watched a replay, that first try was a mile forward
The winning try was a fucking bullshit offload that most times goes nowhere and yet it went to hand.
Parramatta didn't make an error in the 2nd half. Great defence on the line. Lane somehow became Brad Clyde.
Just gutted. If they are playing Penrith next week I'll support Parramatta. If they fold in half like last time I'll be fucking furious
