You're going to rest your bowlers for what? Two sessions? But they've got an overnight rest.
Just comes across as sooky.

I just thought the same. Why ?
Enforcing the follow on deflates the other team. I think it’s a powerful move.
I think they want the pitch to break up a bit more.
As is typical with a lot of recent Aussie pitches it's a bit of a road.
Set 498 … currently 84 without, 5 sessions to go.
Unlikely they will do it, but need a decent crack to lift heads for rest of the tour.
