Souths goooorn
Blood letting will be fierce there in the off season
Cant see it happening but I am hoping both the Raiders and Cowboys get up this weekend..just pushes Roosters out again. Roosters not back to best but on a roll for sure, like to see that squashed
Sure we are resting a few top players, but getting hammered at the moment. However If the Phins were any good they would have probably triple the score by now.
12 -0
I know we had plenty of frontline talent out, but it was still frustrating to watch because I thought we created a number of chances but then let ourselves down with a few poor errors.
So with us losing we will finish 4th. As it sits right now we are a chance to play either the Panthers or the Broncos.
@ACT-Crusader Penrith already appear to be saying Warriors please!
Think the Storm might have a good record against the Broncos too

Hopefully their injuries affect them and Webster knows them well so perhaps he can find us ways to hurt them

Yeah storm have a very good record against the broncos but most of that time had a much better team than now,
but I was reading online comments from broncos supporters who clearly don’t want to play them claiming they are their official bogey team .
final weekend of the regular season was an absolute fizzer.
Broncos B v Melbourne B was actually a good game, with the baby storm winning to keep one of the more remarkable streaks alive.
Manly thumped the inept Tigers
The Roosters won the elimination final against the Bunnies, who fell a loooong way down the table.
The Warriors reserves got pumped.
The Cowboys failed to turn up when it mattered again, and got fucking flogged by Penrith. Something is wrong in NQ.
Newcastle are flying in to finals, and if Ponga is right, they are a chance of going all the way to lose to Penrith in the GF
Apparently the Titans and the Bulldogs played yesterday, but no one cares
Canberra lost to the Sharks, but limped in to the finals with a disgraceful points diff. The rest of the comp should be embarrassed.
And so week 1 of the finals
Friday is Melbourne v Broncos in Brisbane. The Storm have beaten the Broncos like 14 times in a row or something.
Warriors get the 4pm slot on Saturday when we shock the Panthers
Saturday night is the Sharks v the Roosters
and the weekend finishes up with the Knights and Raiders
Brisbane
Penrith
Roosters
Knights
Think those predicted winners look right.
Sharks could beat the Roosters, but have no confidence in tipping them.
Knights on fire

It’s only Penrith aye SJ
Big monkey off the back and drought over for the Broncos. Big win tonight.
Our centres have been battling out of their weight class most of this year I think.
Don’t forget the kicking metres that SJ normally provides
Think other teams might be down by more by now though

We lost our 6/7 combination, that's a huge hole to fill
So many basic mistakes. But let’s be honest, the Warriors have been fairly average for quite a few weeks.
Losing our halves combination especially a Dally M candidate was never going to be good.
If Penrith had lost Cleary I think we we would’ve been able to stay close and even snag it. His influence on everything Penrith does is huge. Such is the role of SJ and we don’t have any one in the broader squad that is even in the same postcode.
Well I got visit Penrith, less mullets than I expected and a massive fancy Westfield, but that was about it.
The Warriors were pedestrian, the reffing is a dodgy as ever when seeing it live, and this little kid near us kept saying that stupid saying and every time he said it the Warriors stuffed up, see I was right all along.
TBH serious I think this was probably Webster's worst night as a coach in terms of decision making. We had two props, two. We started the second half with no props on the field. Our back three (and Pompey) were essentially props working it out from our end every single time. IIRC Curran didn't come on until near the 60th minute but our three hooker/utility forwards were rotating with our props and Egan. If SJ is out again they need to bring Volkman in, the balance is completely out when Walker isn't used off the bench.
The hot donuts were really nice and the trip via the train was really easy and fairly quick.
Fascinating match unfolding in Newcastle as the short priced favourites are behind by 10 at the half. I don’t think anyone likes Sticky but his team is aiming up out there. They did have the wind behind them but played well in the first 40 minutes.
I would expect Newcastle to fight back in second 40, but boil over is on the cards if Raiders maintain this effort
Ohhhh, this is some game.
Canberra back to back tries, kick from a handy angle coming to go 28 all
Canberra wasted a couple of opportunities to go for a dropped goal in that first 5 minutes of extra time.
Yep, entertaining to watch although I am not sure how the biter remained on the field with those marks as clear as day.
Knights move on to NZ
