TBF we all should have seen the Dolphins winning week 1. Wayne gets a group together for an occasion like no other.
Oh those WTF results are good ones as well.
Yeeeah fuck you Paul Kent.

Supercoach Wayne - no one predicted his team would start so well with the talent he had, they batted well above their weight for long into the season
Speak for your's and @mariner4life's selves.
Although Wayne is getting a bit soft in his old age, no one as fat as Te Whare would ever get a start in his old Broncos and St George teams. How does a guy get fatter as the season goes on? Even in his fattest year Piri lost weight as the season went on.

Teddy who went backwards
I wasn't concentrating on the Roosters too much so was genuinely shocked to see how bad he is now when I watched a few of their games in a row.
It was a good year for NZ wingers (aside from Rapana), with Isaako, DWZ and Mulitalo all running in lots of tries. Even the new boy Warbrick had a decent try tally.

Kiwi "utility" who is another in the lo g line of great players at Melbourne, not so good elsewhere
Seriously, this is a prelim
Penrith are making this look like a game against a reserve grade side
How are they, for the 3rd year in a row, this much better, bigger, fitter, and faster then everyone

Storms pack has been found wanting in big games this year, it was similar against Brisbane .
But Penrith are a great side , still more success left in them yet by the looks, should go down as one of the all time great sides when they are finished.
Lol I don't think people realize how far ahead Penrith and Brisbane are from the rest. Both teams are gonna dominate the rest of this decade.
Difference between the sides in goal kicking is also starting to add up. In part, the Warriors are paying a price for being softer up the middle of the park with that.
DWZ can certainly score tries but often makes the wrong call on defence with two tries scored with bad reads,
Not blaming him though, offloads killing us and Pompey’s kicking has not helped.
Surprisingly we are still in this and are not out of it yet.
Was going to say how quick is Walsh?, but Haas at pace was awesome!
Still hope, but we will need to kick our conversions from here out
Walsh’s pass was a mile forward and then the next one was marginally forward too. A useless touch judge was so far behind the play.
Oh well, the NRL get the grand final they really want.
Was a great run this season. We were the third best side this season and that’s pretty damn awesome. A shame we couldn’t play a prelim with our best side on the park.
Scoreline is a fair reflection of the game despite the blatant forward pass which in all honesty, had no bearing on the result (thankfully).
Brisbane's attack v Penrith's defence. I'm backing Penrith' defence, but a great final none the less.
To be fair Brisbane dominant, but still disappointing.
Well done warriors for not only getting this far but also showing how important fan engagement is!
In a game where everything had to go our way, the ref screwed us. But Brisbane were still the better team

Rubbish, it was a turning point of the game, it was 24 -12 at the time.
@Nepia Nah, Brisbane were going downhill all game. Let's not kid ourselves, yes, maybe it would have kept the Wahs/warriors whatever they call themselves these days in the contest for a bit longer, but Brisbane had plenty left in the tank and were always gonna go on and win the game.
I wish it was called forward personally as it now gives people an excuse to fall back on, but the Broncs were miles ahead for the majority of the contest. Even the 2 DWZ tries early on just spurred Brisbane into action. They were playing at a ridiculous pace all game, despite the Warriors best efforts and I hate Brisbane, but I'm not gonna lie about what really happened out there.
Great season Warriors, though they fell tonight, the improvements have been immense. 2024 is our year.
Funny how Egan gets called up for a forward pass on a ball that looked okay, and the Broncos get away with 3 forward passes, one of which Wayne Barnes would have been chuffed to call his own
