Currently 2-1 to Brentford in the battle to be the best team in West London with about 20 minutes to go. Brentford have drawn a few too many games this season to be in the top 4 race but have lost only 4 games compared to 6 for Man U, 7 for Liverpool & 9(!) for Spurs.

@KiwiPie BOOO

TBH sounds like Brentford are all over Fulham. We are missing Palhinha

KiwiPie

Top 4 and Top 6/7 race could be interesting to the end of the season presuming all teams keep up their inconsistency. And right now Brighton are 4th (presuming of course they win all 3 games in hand)

the bottom of the table is even closer

6 points separates 12 and 20th. With no stand out shit team this season it's all on for the drop.

And even closer now - any team written off as down seems to win and any team starting to look safe seems to lose.

@KiwiPie Bournemouths upset win against Liverpool came at the right time. Played very well against Arsenal for no points, so hopefully a lot of confidence coming from both. Cant pick bottom three right now however happy we have a game in hand over Everton and Wolves on that list as every opportunity is crucial.

Hopefully we get to see our 30m Ukrainian defender for the first time next week as well

KiwiPie

@bayimports A very amusing result for everyone except Liverpool fans. Bournemouth seemed to be getting a lot of joy from the ball over the top. Salah's penalty miss was bizarre - he was so far wide, you wonder where he was aiming.

Any of those 9 teams that can get 4 more wins should stay up, 3 wins might be enough.

These games happen on the final day.
Palace v Forest
Everton v Bournemouth
Leicester v West Ham
with
Arsenal v Wolves
Leeds v Spurs
Southampton v Liverpool

I can't remember the last time all three relegation spots were so open this late. Bad memory maybe, but feels like there's normally at least one team that are having a mare and are a dozen points or so off the pace.

Trossard with a hatrick of assists vs Fulham, not bad for a guy who Arsenal weren't even planning to sign at the start of the window. Their recruitment has been incredible lately, really doing a great job of getting valuable contributors without resetting the market. Be interesting to see what their summer recruitment strategy looks like.

Bovidae

@Cyclops Yeah, I was surprised and happy to see Trossard playing today. A nice 15 min cameo from Jesus as well.

broughie

@Cyclops hopefully Arsenal they add to the defensive midfield/midfield someone in the mound of Partey. Boy he is composed and I would say there most valuable player. I think they have enough players that can score.

Cyclops

@broughie

I saw some rumours a month or so back that Aresnal were planning to make a run at Declan Rice over the summer.

Bovidae

Yes, Rice will be the no.1 target. He can then stay in London.

Tierney might be heading the other way as Newcastle is keen.

broughie

@Cyclops in I think he would be a good signing. Whether they can sign them or not, it's another story. My wish list is Camavinga but a pipe dream.

Erling Haaland scores goals. Up to 40 for the season now, and still a ton of games to go. Sets the City record, but even further to go to the overall record, which is 73 (Messi).

Is this finally the year that City get a champions league title?

sparky

Patrick Vieria sacked as Crystal Palace boss.

10 EPL sides, half the league, have changed their manager since the end of last season.

sparky

Haaland in the goals again. A brace so far against Burnley in the FA Cup Quarter Final. 40 goals this season.

sparky

Haaland with another hat-trick.

KiwiPie

Fulham 1-0 up on United and in control - handball on the line and red card for Willian, red for Mitrovic in the aftermath and red for Marco Silva for good measure. Out of the cup and could be season over for stupidity.
