This game is on FTA on Sky Open from 6am Saturday, then the other pool games are delayed I think
I think I'd better make a "watch list" with all the RWC and NPC games that I want to watch. My eyes will be more square than usual.

Well for an opening game you've got an opening cemerony for an hour or so beforehand
From memory the 2011 RWC in NZ there were games kicking off at 9pm local.

I reckon we will sneak it, 6 points...Think the pressure on the French will be immense, but by the same token I think they will see this as a better path to victory.
I’d so love to be wrong but I think France will pip this. They’ve won 12 in a row at home. The injuries to Retallick and Frizzell and a lack of forward power are exposing weaknesses in the All Blacks that a ruthless side led by a great player like Antonie Dupont will expose.
I've gone ABs 1-8 as I'm both mentally and physically unable to pick against the ABs.
The mention of Frizzell being missing in this thread is making me chuckle though, one swallow ....
Bad guys by 9 plus setting us up to play SA again in the quarters (yes I'm also making other predictions)

@KiwiMurph sure is, although I expect there has been alot of work done in the last 9 days on scrummaging and having a full pack will no doubt help, ball in ball out, no fucking around we should be sweet.

Yeah I picked abs by 1-8 , same as been mentioned , heart not head.
France is actually a team I enjoy watching, if we can’t win the tournament I hope they do.

Their cup, their rules. Plus 9pm is better viewing time here. It does seem very gallic though, a 9pm kickoff

Frogs aren’t the same without Baille at LH. Wobblies bossed them in scrum.

9pm is a typical start time in Europe for rugby and football
For example, majority of champions league matches start at this time.

To elaborate on my above comment: we found good form on the EOYT, and we've continued that by smacking Argentina, SA and Aus in consecutive games when it mattered this season.
Far too much is being made of the warm up game. SA were out for blood, after the cards do you really think we were going to risk injury by trying to match their physicality, especially when they had a 7-1 split? Not a chance, we've got this game and the quarter to prepare for.
We're on an upward climb at the moment and France have some pretty key injuries. All of the pressure is on them.

This. I much prefer the 9 pm kickoffs in France to the afternoon starts in the UK for us.
