@taniwharugby given that he was scratched, he’s probably on the way or at least got his passport ready. But big call to insert him into the squad and therefore rule out TL for the remainder. Does feel like one of those stories waiting to happen though.

Agree, we have seen it in parts, but it’s the consistency which is tough. Ireland are consistently good, but the beauty of knockout footy is we only need to be marginally better on the day.

If only one of their previous 17 opponents had used one of those thousand.
But I agree we can win this but not if we play like we have recently against France and SA where we revert to chip kicks, poor exits and poor discipline. Basically we have to be out our very best for 80 minutes.
I had a slight glimmer of hope until I read this little gem of master coaching:
“We also learnt you want to have 15 players on the park"
Oh, crap, that is incisive.
You can argue they were undercooked if you want. But we pumped the yarps in the first half at Mt Smart. We need to bottle some of that and we can do these guys
