Yeah shameful performance at home.
I sat on the bank and Curtly Ambrose did a lap of the ground to thunderous applause from all of us ( he had a lot of time to fuck around and have fun while the Windies were batting to be fair )
All those middle order left handers just took the piss against our attack from memory. The one who actually looked the best that day wasn’t Lara, it was Keith Arthurton, I was always surprised he had such an average career compared to the “Prince”
Santner justifying his spot by more than doubling the next best batsman’s score.
…..and this “fighting” innings will be enough to keep him in the team for the next ten tests at least.
…….and that’s that.
Sri Lanka may as well enforce the follow on and try and wrap it up before the end of the day.
