That round was a bomb!
The only way is up...
Round 2 is now in the books and for the first time in Fantasy, I've been able to sneak 1st position, largely due to triple captaining Jorgensen and also backing Fehi (despite him gifting a try to Moorby). My Booboo for the week was swapping out Moorby for Carter last minute.
Anita Blackman also sits in 1st equal, not sure who this player is on the Fern but well played. They also captained Jorgensen, they selected Josh Moorby and they persisted with Samisoni who brought home 83 points.

Apologies for the delay this round team. My position at the top only lastest one week, with Anita Blackman (AKA Chris) shooting up to 1st with a solid round of 519 points. His big selections for the week were triple captaining Fehi Fineanganofo who brought home 123 points, McReight scored the second most points for his team with 61.
@mikedogz scored the most points for round 3 with 546. A strategy of double captaining Papali'i and Cale was a solid ploy, and as a result went from 16th to 14th.

I'm up to 3rd, how the hell did that happen? (the free wheeling Chiefs v Crusaders game of course)

forgot to change his team from the previous week.
Honestly can't remember... but wasn’t unhappy with what I had.
Have changed it for this week early though
First time I'm having real problems with Budget.
With Round 4 now in the bin, it's getting tight at the top of the Ferner's league. Anita Blackman (AKA Chris) kept everyone at bay with another solid round of 681 points. He had a lot of big scorers for the week, especially in the outsides with Daugunu, Jorgensen and Fineanganofo.
@bobily had the highest score for the round with 761, bloody well played. Captaining Cale paid off big with 148 points.

Started off great and been shit ever since.
Am pissed about players injured before game. I think there should an option to transfer out that player if theres another game on in round, or get average points for that position.
I had Sititi and flicked on just at kick off and didn't have option to transfer out.
Also, Perofeta supposedly a late injury, yet in post match interview B Barrett mentioned the coach had asked him if he could play 80mins the day before. Presume the knew then Perofeta wasn't playing.

Yeah it is frustrating, to do well in Fantasy you really need to be up with the play for all games, something that is unrealistic for most people.
I agree, they should have one injury replacement a week where you can swap out an injured player for a starting player in a later game.
I have noticed player value going up and down this season, so a step in the right direction there, but I can't see a history of that players value over time and exactly what day their new value is calculated each week. These are important if you want to maximise the value of your team, you need to transfer out players not playing the next week early before their value drops, and transfer in players that performed well early so you get the $ from their value increasing.
still think they need to fix it by allowing you to pick some reserves who only come in, in the event of a last minute injury, such as last week, I had Toole in my side, but he didnt end up playing.

To be fair, the announcement on Toole not playing was made about 24 hours prior to kick-off, and then the match was also delayed by nearly 2 hours, so you had plenty of time in that regard.
@Canes4life not if I dont follow headlines about non-NZ teams and then on the NZ teams it would only be if the weather is shite I might be in checking.

Yeah fair call, hopefully they bring in the replacement option next year. They should have done a survey to all Fantasy players last year to improve the experience.
@Canes4life or it could just be as simple as giving you the average of all starting players in that position (if your guy was a starter) or if a bench, average of all the bench players in that position.
But hey, it is what it is, I aint coming last, presently....
