Etzebeth stayed down until TMO came in.
Springboks know exactly what they are doing in that regard. Best in the business.

World Rugby really need to have a rethink about penalty advantages. If you make 30m and several phases, you have an advantage.
Itโs really stupid isnโt it.
Plus the Boks prop went to his knees at that scrum so the ref got it wrong anyway.
Argentina will be filthy with the ref.
Moodie should have been sent off, not that id agree, but its the way the game is reffed.
Thats a yellow card in every other match.

Ref bottled it. Boks get a favourable look from the refs. Not that they see it that way
The best teams tend to get the rub of the green. They paint better pictures. All about the art

Is Wilco Louw the strongest scrummager in the world?
No, thatโs still Ox Nche.
@ACT-Crusader said in Springboks v Argentina Twickenham:
@stodders just get away with it constantly.
Is this the Boks version of Richieโs invisibility cloak?
@ACT-Crusader said in Springboks v Argentina Twickenham:
Ref has opened his other eye at scrum time now.
Boks LH was offending for ten minutes before that.
World Rugby need to get a grip on the sport. It has no credibility as a contest anymore.
The man in the middle arbitrarily decides who has a better chance of winning most weeks now.

Argentina were hatcheted.
That ref is a joke.
Too unbiased?

Moodie should have been sent.
He bottled it completely.
Didnt even give a penalty, as to give a penalty would acknowledge an infringement occurred and he didnt want to put himself in that position.
Cowardice pure and simple.

God, do you ever shut up?
Great comeback by Los Pumas, but not quite enough.
Yeah, I think the ref bottled it a bit so the Springboks got lucky today.
But they've been the best team across the tournament as a whole and are worthy winners. Well done to the Springboks and their supporters.

I think adjudication (refs and TMO's and the laws they are tasked with enforcing) is at an all time low qualitatively, be it from a fairness perspective and enjoyment perspective.
We are being served up a terrible product.
