ALB: calm focused head amongst headless chickens.
Wallace: everywhere
Samisoni: solid lineout and some good runs
Sititi, DMac, Love
Thought Sititi was very good.
Not perfect but Love a breath of fresh air.
Ref did well.

What did you see from Holland that you didn't from Parker? Other than obviously a few standard lineout takes.
Taukei’aho, DMac and Clarke, although a couple of bad missed tackles from the latter. ST did the hard carries.
For all the honorable mentions should probably add Tosi. Especially with an Ardie highlight reel play

I thought Ardie ran on fron the sideline to make that turnover!
Oh no wait, Tosi actually made the tackle first up as well......

such a huge play from a 130kg plus unit on our try line better than our loosies

ALB played bloody well. Ran well, but his vision and passing really helped our outsides.

DMac, Clarke and Sititi for me
I would have gone Clarke too, but he missed way too many tackles out there for me.

he used to be avery good player. his body betrayed him but he can sometimes do good things

ALB made some nice direct runs. Rieko too. We look more dangerous when we run straight and hard instead of sideways. What a surprise 🫢

ALB is still a good player. He's not the most explosive
can be pretty combustible when it comes to cards in recent seasons...

ALB surprised me with his game. Clearly he's a starter or not at all in the 23.

Rieko too. Ran hard, tackled, even passed out to his winger

Rieko was poor. Was it two bad defensive reads leading to two tries
No. If he hadn't turned in when Holland was coming across the attacker likely wouldn't have passed and his momentum would've got him well over the line.
The other I'd have to recheck - I think that's the one he turned in because it was the "world's best fullback" next to him.

Yep it looked bad, but it was odd that he was left marking last man both times, one of them he shouldnt have jammed in but the other was a 50/50

He always saves his best for the minnows. Was the best last year against what was virtually a Fiji Drua side last year in San Diego or wherever it was too.
1st one WJ had his man but Rieko panicked and came off his line. Was really poor defence - especially from an ex winger. He holds his line and makes the tackle there is no try.
2nd one - you're right that Wales are likely to score as Parker and Holland are too late to shift.

I'm not sure that only getting starts against the lower ranked teams constitutes saving your best for them...

ALB is either start or not in the 23 as he's shown repeatedly over the last few years he's not a good bench option

That was a poor read and he didn’t trust the inside (who had the ball carrier covered).
Other than those, he was pretty solid.

As I pointed out, only one of them was suspect - the first was always going to be a try.
He defended well, supported ball carriers and distributed well. Quite frankly he played a very good game in a problematic position for the All Blacks.

While I agree that he should have stayed on his man, after watching it a couple of times I don't think it was conclusive at the time he turned in that WJ was going to get the attacker - he only really scragged him.
And 100% agree with your following post.
