Wow wahs showed up, sure we had the rub of the green and thankfully ref largely overruled. But effort from team was outstanding.

The whole team played great. Fisher Harris and Clarke were beasts. As was Capewell. I'd love to get Whyte back to AKL when he comes off contract in 2029. But that's gotta be a pipe dream
Bunnies being slept on, they are stacked!! Koloamatagi, Murray and Fifita are all elite forwards, Aitken and Tatola are quality as well. And then they have so many good backs they can bump Graham to the wing.
Same old Dolphins, can make scoring points look ridiculously easy, but their defence stinks (25 missed tackles in teh first half alone!!) and a huge number of errors and penalties. Heaps to fix.

Broncos were putrid, and Penrith were good without being great. It's going to be a Storm v Penrith GF again isn't it?
Biggest takeaway from Round 1 is just how hard it is for teams to stop momentum. Even in a big win for the Wahs, it took a Roosters error from teh kick off to stop them running over the top of us. Yesterday the Dolphins closed in on the Bunnies and were on top until Walker's 40/20.
Early in the season the 6-agains are just stretching possession on and on and teams are getting gassed.

Funny about the Rabbits. Was watching them thinking 'how do they look fucken elite again in the blink of an eye!' Obviously it's round 1 so i'll reserve judgement, but there's all of a sudden plenty of points in them when they're at full strength.
Rabbits are also filled with an aging spine and key stars that are injury prone. They look elite now which is also why I picked them as the big improvers but, lets see if the glue keeps them together later in the season

Unless if I lived in Nth Queensland or Parramatta and then I would be worried. I suspect even Parramatta come right as no one beats Melbourne in week one.
If Barnett turns up week 3 at the Broncos for Ben Te Kura and Jessie Athurs then lets see how both sides play out. Still think Wahs get the bum deal out of that move if real
So Warriors no change to starting line up from last week. Unless names change on the bench, I dont expect to see Gannon or Tuapiki unless injury. Only 4-6 can play.
Just as well we're not playing a version of last man standing where you have to pick warrior wins as I would likely lose. We got beaten twice by the Raiders last year and I dont see it changing this year, Tapine brings out his beast mode when he lines up against us. Unlike the Roosters I expect the Raiders to attack us right down the middle mostly. Note I am also 0-1 for tipping the Warriors correctly. We are at home but likely Canberra type weather. Close outcome to the green guys.
surface level big win round 1. but that's a different game if White doesn't drop it off the kick off when they were all over us, and their halves didn't absolutely love a first tackle kick. Given the Roosters outsides torched us, and the Raiders are pretty fucking good there, i'm not expecting much
