88/4 just after drinks, not looking like we'll have the batting depth tonight unless the next two bring it most of the way home.
Nostradamus!

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, etc

I turned off halfway through our innings. Needing 74 off 10 with 7 wickets in hand was a cakewalk ... or so I thought. How you lose by 19 runs I have no idea
Melie Kerr with a casual
6442444
to reach her 100 in only 52 balls.
Plus the statistical nicety of overs 17, 18, 19 going for 17, 18, 19 runs.
Kerr out for 105 in the final over and NZ post 194-6
Melie Kerr is obsecenly good at cricket.
Added 2/6 off 3 overs bowling just for fun, as we win by nearly 100.
Shit - that's a good catch by Kelly! I though Clarke's was bloody good in the last match - this one might be better!

@Donsteppa Is Satnav not available for this decider?
Would surely have to be injured with the state of this lineup.
Crowd catches look more likely than Jacobs and Clarke so far...

Aren’t most of our good players over readying themselves for the IPL or PSL?
Look to be playing a similarly inexperienced line-up as last time.
I missed the first dozen overs, so never heard any team news.
Jaaps really putting our bowlers to the sword - not sure who's going to score the runs for us if Robinson doesn't!

Santner is being rested. Was planned prior to the start of this series.
Did he not pick up an IPL contract? Crazy.

Yes he did, so did Jamieson but he is playing tonight and leaves for the IPL tomorrow.
Yep. Cleaver lived dangerously for the first half of that last over. Seemed to then get through it.

@Donsteppa aaaaand he's gone
Yep. He was determined to give the South Africans enough catching practice.
Shit - the kingpin, Robinson, runs himself out.
Seems like The Neesh needs to show he's not a spent force - not convinced about our other options.

It's a terrible international top order.
Add middle order to this
@Donsteppa I think Clarke has promise for the future. Robinson obviously pushing for a top order spot.
The others look a bit short of the bar.

A terrible team all round so far...!

I worry that Clarke has slightly Poor Man's Finn Allen vibes, but hopefully he kicks on at the top level.
Well done boys. Just what I orderede for that over.
You need to do exactly the same for the remaining five overs!
