I don't know why, but seeing Ronaldo lose brings me so much joy. I generally enjoy seeing big teams crash out early, but there's just something about Ronaldo that makes it particularly satisfying.

I'm a lifelong United fan so will always have a soft spot for CR7. That being said, his ego and inability to put his country first makes it a bit more enjoyable watching them crash out of the cup. Everyone can see that Ronaldo drags Portugal down - everyone but Martinez and Ronaldo himself.

@mariner4life I have them as favourites for the cup. If they meet France in the SF, their possession based style will probably win it for them. Also think their defence has been on point and best in the tournament. Cubarsi looks like a 10 year vet.

Now that FIFA have disgraced themselves because Trump asked them to ignore the red card suspension, I hope the USA lose.

Down two goals with 20 odd minutes left, things look good.

Perfect time for Doku to come on. USA have to press. Gonna be a lot of space in behind their backline in transition.

Hopefully Belgium hang on, because that goal would play well to Benny Hill music.
