I'll be interested to see which locks ended up signed at the Canes.

It’s been talked about on the 2026 thread because I said Delany and Ah Koui would be a short locking combo.

It’s clear what the Hurricanes need at lock so if they can’t get it in NZ they should be looking offshore again.

Lock is the clear area the Canes need to recruit for, all other positions (aside from maybe centre) we are fairly well covered.

Would be good to sign someone like Fita Sa to replace Dearns. 203 120kgs would be good and on the selectors radar.

I doubt they will let Sa go, Ah Koui is much more likely but obviously doesn’t have the same height and weight.

Delany and Ah Koui are two very good locks but lack the height to be world class.

I’ve got the timings wrong for this game. Apparently it’s next Wednesday on SS1.

I have put every player with rumours about departure in. Any rumours get put into the potential player movements.

It's been mentioned on here that Harkin is looking at a contract in France, potentially he has an out clause. Hope it's not true as he's a lock in starter at 15 for the Canes moving forward.

Regarding Cameron, I wouldn't be surprised after his run of bad injuries that he takes a contract off-shore and cashes in while he can. I hope he signs on as depth is key.

You could just use the search function on the forum to find out where it originated from. That seems quite easy.

Yep did that 24 days ago and asked @kiwimurph and @canes4life where they were getting their intel but got no response on the subject. Then I read your table in the first post repeating the so called rumour (probably better described as misinformation) and thought I would try again. Thanks for all your help

Always stated that everything shared on the forum or externally would be included.

There is a range of rumours that are not substantiated, but have been said by one or two people. Which are included.

You seem like a bit of a whinger and a bit stuck in the mud that some people have cited Harkin. Who cares. Rumours are just that until they are confirmed or they just disappear into the wind.

Just noticed on the Turbos squad announcement that Vernon Bason has a season ending injury? Wonder if that is why he was never selected towards the end of the season?

For some clarity, Harkin is signed through 2027.

Cashmore is the 10 leaving. Not sure where but that announcement isn’t very far away along with a few other players.

Unsure if it’s been posted anywhere but Bryn Evans is moving on too.

I'm seeing it as "currently injured", so likely to feature later in the season.
