canefan

Hard to pick tonight. Lots of strong performances

No Quarter

Went for the blokes that fucked them up the most in the first 40 - Vaa'i, Ardie and Pat T. Ardie and Pat T were absolutely brutal on the pick and go, the speed at which they got the ball and got over the advantage line was insane. Vaa'i wrecked havoc down the sidelines and was just as strong ball in hand. It was men against kids out there at times with the way we just overpowered them. Awesome use of Pat T, have him go hard for as long as he can then bring on fresh legs. I think Vaa'i could go well at 6 under this coaching group as well.

No Quarter

Lots of really strong performances though. Good signs that the coaches have so many players back into form.

I picked backs, but again the forwards were massive. Hard to pick some though

I went the complete opposite way.

Lots of very solid performances tonight but was most impressed with De Groot, Aumua and Vaa'i.

But really could give it to just about anyone.

Tim

Hard to go past some of the ball carriers in the forwards tonight.

Canes4life

Love, Tupaea and Moorby. Aumua, De Groot and Tuipolotu come close and there were plenty of good carriers tonight.

Thought Tupaea was really good tonight, unlucky not to get MOTM.

antipodean

Jordie, Patrick and Asafo

bayimports

Thought a few played well but shout out to Matt lord on debut. Will be interesting to see if he gets another start

Tim

@bayimports I'll forgive him, he was a Harbour and Takapuna legend after all.

voodoo

I've been one of Ardies biggest critics over the years.. But I think his last 120 minutes or so in black have been awesome.

My votes as well.

@voodoo I thought this was Ardie Savea's best Test performance since the 2023 World Cup. Did the hard work.

KiwiMurph

Tough choice this week which is always good

I'll go with De Groot, Vaai and Moorby

Others very close such as Tuipulotu, Love and the midfield duo.

Went to school with him! Much like some other rugby legends from that school, he wasn't deemed talented enough for the 1st XV.
