Am finding that threads are opening on posts I have already read - often quite a long way into the past.

Possible as I open multiple threads in new tabs in Opera - but quite annoying

Try logging out and back in on each device

There's potential you don't have the 'live updates' connection. That updates the last read position.. if that doesn't update you would go to old posts. It also makes unread, notifications, etc appear quickly

There's been changes to this in the last 24hrs. Its possible some users are temporarily missing that extra connection. Logging in would reconnect it. Last read position would then repair over time

Thanks @duluthhave done that. No news is good news - if I don't reappear here then it's working thank you

also, @duluth ctrl-enter now working for replies which is nice

@nzzp I edited my post with this line "Last read position would then repair over time". It wouldn't be an immediate fix, the last read would need to update for each topic as you browse them

Where is the forum?

There is no tab called "forum".

I just see "unread" on the left hand side.

And how do you sort by newest first?

There is no distinction between the main site and the forum anymore. Everything is the forum, but think of it as the Fern.

Some areas you can post, some have stats, some have articles. As we add more features this will make more sense.

Any areas with sort options will have them in the header, look for settings icons

I have just had a look around the new site.It is brilliant @duluth and @kirwan have done an oustanding bit of work.

If we need to fix anything in the future we can respond quickly. If users have good feature suggestions we can build those quickly

I'm looking forward to the live match threads. The first few matches will have bugs.. however livescoring events, cards, basic stats, snap polls etc should make a great 'second screen' watching experience

Great work, bugs are expected with what you guys are creating to start off with.I am enjoying all the work you guys are putting in.

Once things settle down, we'll start encouraging feature requests. The foundation is almost done, and we can pretty much built anything useful now.

We have an idea of what we would like to do (livescoring is a good example), but open to new ideas and features that work well for second screen use cases, tipping, filtered experience for teams you support, etc, etc

When I click on an update notification for the movie thread it takes me way early into the thread, not to the latest post. I don't know what is going on with it

I'm having the same issue when switching between devices.

@canefan I suggest anyone with this issue clear cookies and cache and try again then report back if it doesn't work. You may be an iteration or two behind.

I logged out as well. I'll see if this helps

Logging out helps too, as you'll get the new cookie when you log back in.

Ohhh double tapping a post on mobile gives it an upvote, that would explain why I have sometimes upvoted posts by accident

Anyone else’s chats heading way back up when you open them? Have to scroll all the way down each time.

When posting from my phone and replying to a long post, where I have to scroll, I have trouble placing the cursor where I want - it keeps getting stuck at the end of my reply. No issues when I don’t need to scroll. Seen in Safari and Chrome on an older iPhone if that helps or means it’s not worth fixing

@shaquilleoatmeal @landers92 I've logged both of those. We'll get to them soon

Meanwhile the server has been slow for the last couple of hours. I just pushed a fix for that and it seems to be recovering. It may take some time to flush out some bad data
