With this sort of refereeing, it's pointless competing at ricks - the ref is letting people clear out from the side and go off their feet. Chiefs should line up in defence and try tackling.

I agree, but he's working his ass off. He and BBBR are not really surrounded by any class. I'd be looking at some other 'leaders' to get involved, especially Weber, who is relatively senior, not that you'd know it. We miss TKB in games like this.

@gt12 Not sure whether Weber can be considered a senior player. He didn't play a single SR game last year. He's been with the squad in 2017, but that's all.

I do like the Bulls attacking structure. Lots of width. With Kriel straightening the attack.

What’s different is that they are actually playing with some endeavour.

Chiefs look better staying close to the ruck than going wide.
