Half time and the Chiefs look woeful.
At the game and Jack Debreczeni is on the ground right in front of me. Has a neck brace on and about 6 medics around him. The golf cart is out to drive him off the field. Dude hasn't moved since he was tackled.

He has no luck with injuries that man. They’ve just shown a shot of him on the cart being taken off, doesn’t look good...

I hope the Chiefs can turn this round in the second half, but the Lions are a quality outfit.
They have been crap all season. Have got a few players back but Chiefs are playing into their hands. Too many mistakes given how poor their scrum is.
Both Lions' tries were a bit dodgy IMO.
With Debreczeni looking like he's suffered a bad injury, the Chiefs stocks for the 10/15 jersey are getting smaller and smaller. Beaver back next week?

Pretty sure it’s the ABs asked him to swap sides. Ofa and Karl did it earlier in the season
One of the (likely) 5 RWC props will need to cover both sides
Doubtless the explanation, but it's a bit weird. Big Karl and Ofa are already slated as being able to play both sides and most likely both of them make the team.
Along with Moody, Franks and Laulala - or just possibly Hames.
Is Ta'avao playing both sides really going to elevate him from about 7th?
Chiefs missing too many of their talismans, I think. No Retallick, no Cane, no McKenzie.
Post right next to him and he tries to drive over, gets held up. Chiefs are just playing dumb rugby.

Now the Chiefs decide to start playing.
Certainly looks like it. Look completely different holding the ball and passing to players in space.

Fucking hell, how was that guy even close to being on his feet. That was ridiculous.
Yeah that was terrible from the ref.
If MMac could kick from the right hand side of the field, and if Wainui could turn and run within the same phase the Chiefs could even be ahead..
And back live - if the Chiefs would try not to kick the fucking thing away to nowhere when they finally get the ball....

Why would Weber kick turnover ball away 10 points down with 8 to play? Makes no sense at all.
One of those moments where the TV is suddenly in danger from flying objects...

I reckon. Turnover ball is about the best ball you can get to attack with, and Weber just lobbed it back to the opposition.
Ref missed an awfully illegal turnover in the leadup to that try. I haven't been watching all that closely, but this ref seems to have made a few dubious breakdown calls in the parts that I have watched.
