Wasn't that out off the wing, rather than from the kick? Or is the flag considered out? No sound here...

Comms said something similar ...... but the TMO said dead before anyone touched it

mariner4life

The good news for the wallabies is, they appear to be running the Irish "wrap to make space" back line.

So if you can jam them at centre you can stop them.

The problem is the inexperience of the wallabies 13

They're playing alright but they look really disorganised.

The Lions are actually clinically pulling them apart. This will get ugly without the Lions having to work that hard

In their pattern, once they go left they have created an acre of space for their centre to use along with one forward trailing. Good to watch.

Tordah

fun watch so far. Reds making a fist of it

MiketheSnow

Daly playing himself into the Test 15 shirt

booboo

Score flattering the BILs. But I fear it will blow out in their favour.

KiwiMurph

Fun half to watch. Good stuff.

Huh, definitely didn't appear to hit the line until it bounced off red, so flag in goal is considered dead?

Fascinated by this young chap, seems to be playing out of his skin. Its weird, there used to be an England player with the same name a few years back who couldn't catch, wasn't quick enough and had definitely had his day as an international player - funny that this chap has turned up with the same name and looking remarkably similar physically.

Yeah, every Aussie team will be working on how to defend that.

Beckenham players age like a fine wine.

booboo

Charlotte Caslick (comms on sideline) looks like Catwoman. Too much surgery.

/bitchiness

ACT Crusader

Too casual when the move was on out wide.

NTA

Get Kalani Thomas off. Too slow

KiwiMurph

That was easy work. Too much class.

mariner4life

Lions with a huge talent disparity.

ACT Crusader

All comes back to a casual pass from Seru

NTA

Reds in that position because they weren't solid with their exit. Don't be in your 22 doing fancy shit

Bones

Not sure the lions backs were 5m behind the scrum...

KiwiMurph

Would it kill the Reds to attempt a short restart?

NTA

A gulf in fact.

Yes, they're Test players versus provincials, but the provincials have more time together which should make a difference.

And we've got a system that is paper thin for professionals

NTA

Very rarely called for the attacking side at any level

mariner4life

Oh if that was a Reds player rugby on reddit would already have a "was this a missed card?" Post by now.

And some stupid Irish fluffybunny pontificating it was a straight red

ACT Crusader

Staunch defence from the Lions. All those phases and not making any metres.

mariner4life

@ACT-Crusader Reds losing their shape too, late arrivals to clean. Lions at test match intensity would have won a penalty there i reckon.

mariner4life

That was a pretty set of phases

Lions showing a bit more in attack now lifting their intensity with players coming from deep and at pace. Reds defence is at 6s and 7s.

mariner4life

That's a harsh penalty TBF

KiwiMurph

Reds will do well to keep this margin closer than the Force game

booboo

It's not as if I'm Nostradamus but I did call this. Still think score flatters Lions. So far.

mariner4life

Winger makes a great spot tackle but lightning ball. Geez this is impressive by the Lions, they're at training speed

ACT Crusader

Morgan has been very busy. Some good old fashion openside play, hitting rucks with some reckless abandon and even a couple from an extra wide gate…..
