The good news for the wallabies is, they appear to be running the Irish "wrap to make space" back line.
So if you can jam them at centre you can stop them.
The problem is the inexperience of the wallabies 13

The Lions are actually clinically pulling them apart. This will get ugly without the Lions having to work that hard
In their pattern, once they go left they have created an acre of space for their centre to use along with one forward trailing. Good to watch.

VDM should've run through the gap, but passed to 13 who threw a terrible pass to a tight forward instead of his 8.

interesting, this is my admittedly limited opinion of him, that he runs good lines but that's about it. I want my 13 to be able to put his outsides away, Irish centres are better at that.

Huh, definitely didn't appear to hit the line until it bounced off red, so flag in goal is considered dead?

Fascinated by this young chap, seems to be playing out of his skin. Its weird, there used to be an England player with the same name a few years back who couldn't catch, wasn't quick enough and had definitely had his day as an international player - funny that this chap has turned up with the same name and looking remarkably similar physically.

Yes, they're Test players versus provincials, but the provincials have more time together which should make a difference.

Yeah, although it's not that often they're right next to the halfback.
@ACT-Crusader Reds losing their shape too, late arrivals to clean. Lions at test match intensity would have won a penalty there i reckon.

Lions showing a bit more in attack now lifting their intensity with players coming from deep and at pace. Reds defence is at 6s and 7s.
It's not as if I'm Nostradamus but I did call this. Still think score flatters Lions. So far.
Winger makes a great spot tackle but lightning ball. Geez this is impressive by the Lions, they're at training speed
