Get Kalani Thomas off. Too slow
Reds in that position because they weren't solid with their exit. Don't be in your 22 doing fancy shit

All comes back to a casual pass from Seru
Been very ordinary

Lions with a huge talent disparity.
A gulf in fact.
Yes, they're Test players versus provincials, but the provincials have more time together which should make a difference.
And we've got a system that is paper thin for professionals

Not sure the lions backs were 5m behind the scrum...
Very rarely called for the attacking side at any level
Oh if that was a Reds player rugby on reddit would already have a "was this a missed card?" Post by now.
And some stupid Irish fluffybunny pontificating it was a straight red

Yeah, although it's not that often they're right next to the halfback.
@ACT-Crusader Reds losing their shape too, late arrivals to clean. Lions at test match intensity would have won a penalty there i reckon.

Lions showing a bit more in attack now lifting their intensity with players coming from deep and at pace. Reds defence is at 6s and 7s.
Winger makes a great spot tackle but lightning ball. Geez this is impressive by the Lions, they're at training speed
Morgan has been very busy. Some good old fashion openside play, hitting rucks with some reckless abandon and even a couple from an extra wide gate…..
Kiss not smart enough to stack his bench with forwards, so the Lions class disparity is becoming more obvious with more minutes.

And a try
He'll start a Test in one tactical combo or watch from the stands in another
Be interesting to see which game plan and which back row combo Farrell will start in Test 1

Reds loose forwards nowhere to be seen
Their backs have done more tackling and ruck hitting
Game is too fast for them.
I've played games like this, there's just nothing you can do when everyone on the other side is better than you.

6-2 bench split isn't it?

@KiwiMurph Reds with a short restart finally and they create a turnover. Who woulda thunk it!
Genius!

One-sided match. Have to wonder if the BIL's would benefit more from some tougher games.
Not sure they'll ever get them.
Would the NZ sides AB-less do any better?
It's not 2005 any more
