I thought Dan Carter did that before the RWC...

But being serious, my memory is seriously failing me if DC phoned it in for 3 years before a WC and that included a new coaching team in the middle.

who said 3 years? Oh, you did...

sparky

@jimmyb He's joining a side who have only won 3 of their last 53 competitive matches.

@Jet

He can't throw under pressure. I wish he could.

Id still have him in the 23...even have him and Codie on the field at the same time in last 20 if needs be.

Bring him on for a loosie if you have to. His impact is huge.

He is one of our only players who stops people dead in contact.

sparky

@SouthernMann Wrong. Someone on an All Blacks top contract will earn more than someone at Newcastle Red Bull.

You didn't proprrly read my post.

I said, what he believed he could earn. Not best case scenario

Feels like a long time since we've seen a NZ winger in Fineanganofo's form.

Big, strong, fast and good on the feet.

Do we pick him this year for the ABs and deal with next year, next year?

I am starting to think he is the player I am waiting for Clarke to be.

What! Clarke has been good too. I know it's hard to praise Blues players these days but come on, Clarke is a world class winger as well.

BerniesCorner

Don't think the fulla knows his true value

sparky

@SouthernMann I did read it properly. I just wanted to irritate you. Mission accomplished.

Fucking hell, it's got nothing to do with praising, not praising Blues players. I don't give a rats about where players are from.

Although, I am yet to form an opinion on Fineanganofo's ability under the high ball.

Yeah well come on, it was more your wording on Caleb Clarke, you made him out like he's still trying to find his feet at this level lol.

And yes I am on the Fineanganofo bandwagon. I remember his performance in round 1 against the Crusaders last year thinking he had a lot going for him. Didn't think he'd explode like this though!

Can we have Holland back ad strike coach for the ABs?

Hopefully at the very least Jason Holland and Mike Blair will have a few coffees together and share their ideas. It is going to be fascinating to see what an outsider, with no allegiance to any province or Super franchise, does to the AB backline.

Can he start by convincing NZRU to break Fehi’s contract?

What

It is in the statement by you. I only need to refer to Dan Carter the season before a RWC not the entire 3 or 4 years.
Did Dan Carter play to his full potential before the RWC?
Do I suddenly have to refer to 3 years, 3 seasons? I think not.

he's doing the Hurricane's phase attack though - Bryn Evans and Brad Cooper are responsible for the strike plays.

What

With the notable exceptions of his miracle passes which failed to find someone to catch them, Ruben Love had a great game. Running and kicking from hand were outstanding. FF, Dearns and the bomb squad (Numia - Aumua - Tosi) were the best in a well-coached team.
