@Crazy-Horse so not gamesmanship?

A wise man used to say if you arent cheating you aren't trying hard enough

Big difference between stretching the rules and acting like a Soccer player.

I actually didn't see his fake, just saw him take off. He won't get away with that too often in future I'd imagine

I'm inclined to think he wasn't exactly faking, but pushed through the pain for his team. He didn't look comfortable when he took the tap.

I didn't see it either and hope it didn't happen. But if it did, he needs a kick up the arse.

That sort of stupidity can cost you games

The most important Allblack right now for me

Not if BB is selected as starting ten.

Disagree. The most important AB is the one BB feels most comfortable playing behind.

Finlay Christie

You've been trolling this whole time! What a fluffybunny

Ha ha! In an ideal world Christie wouldn't be in the squad, let alone the 23, and BB would be on the bench at best.

But to be fair to Christie, he gives 110% and really stepped up last year when all other options were injured.

George Bridge gave 130%.

@booboo you always senced the Blues would crumble once the Canes strung their game together
Really looking forward to seeing the 2 best teams going head to head next Saturday
This game deserves a full house

Shit act from roigard and proof positive all halfbacks are germs no matter where they are from. Taking advantage of the blues players showing a bit of sportsmanship is pretty fucked.

I love that the same fucking idiotic social.media pages that love to wank on about how rugby is different because of its sportsmanship will also highlight this.

Society continues to get dumber

Dan54

@mariner4life Lol mate not even good bait, BB checking he ok after he got penalised (fair enough helps refs decided it was accident), and Bradley Slater is actually got arm around BB, checking he ok, no ther 'sporting' Blues there . All the other Blues players are actually just wandering away with backs turned. Cotter should of read riot act at halftime. Roiard was on ground for about 8-9 seconds so not lying around pretending he injured as some making out.

I thought that was pretty disgusting and very unsportsmanlike from Roigard. I have no time for that soccer shit, it's a blight on that game and we don't need it in ours. Add to that, it's a contact sport and there are regularly bad injuries. You can't go down and pretend to get an advantage like that - next thing you know someone goes down with a serious neck injury and the opposition goes in to rip the ball off him cause he might be faking.
I think he should be sanctioned for it.

Usual L take devoid of reality from Dan

On the game, after reading the thread I feel like I watched a different one to some people. Credit to the Blues for giving it a crack, they really needed everything to go their way and losing Clarke and Lam early put paid to that.

For the Canes:
Love was pretty average. You can give him a pass for playing injured if you like, but it was still average.
Aumua huge again, playing like an AB bullying provincial players.
Proctor was good, Jordie too. Outsides not as dominant as they have been.
Lakai good carrying but turned the ball over a few times.
Kirifi is a very good Super player with that pack around him.
Really poor cover defence on Spencer's try: Moorby/Harkin/Roigard?

For the Blues:
BB was pretty good at 15. Why this still causes people to call for him to play at 10 where he will play badly is honestly beyond my understanding at this point. (I do know the answer is 'Perofeta was crap', but still).
Sotutu keeps getting rubbished when he's actually playing pretty solid footy. Sure it's no 2024, but 11 carries, 14 tackles isn't really going missing.
Barnes missed a couple of tackles and the bad miss on Aumua, but was very good again: big motor and hard into contact. Should go to Africa.
Pat Tuipolotu stood up.
Oudenryn definitely has the young Dane Coles about him.
Taele much better this week than last.

Good summary. Will add Numia was brutal.

Think the first half hit out when the Blues had their first choice options on will have served the Canes well in prep for next week. Chiefs might have had it too easy.

So when you saw Roigard on the ground you weren't thinking "fuck he's broken again"? Given the circumstances stances of the fall, and him lying there not moving, I thought he had done his leg. Bet I wasn't the only one thinking that.

No I didn't , he wasn't down long enough. I see players often after a decent hit, be a bit stunned. I know it pissed a few off that he took a quick tap. but wasn't down long at all. I was more pissed at Blues players all turning backs and not concentrating,

Roigard theatrics bit of nothing burger at the end of the day. If he did that in an RWC final and scored I wouldn't complain.

It reflects poorly on BOK too. No common sense.
