Think it was doing that because the broadcast hadn't actually started (even though it said live). I had the same issue a couple of hours ago thinking there might be some build up but it's fine now.

Though if we're being consistent with how forward passes are assessed, Riley does actually let the ball go out of his hands backwards, it's momentum that carries it forward.

I can't recall a knock on ever being considered under the forward pass laws.
What I mean is that 'forward' isn't defined in the laws. But in the case of passes, 'forward' means 'forward out of the hands' - so why should it be any different for knock ons?
