It is a Google form - nothing can go wrong ...
And yes you're both in - people who tipped early have gone Chiefs, people who waited until the teams came out have gone Highlanders - except me, I went Chiefs all day long. Highlanders leading 22-19 on picks so far, so there will be a split in the pack after game 1.
Looking at the teams that have been picked, it actually looks like all teams will scrape together 5 players. Hopefully it is 6 for all teams by kick-off time

Scores for the weekend - some pretty good, some terrible.
Higgins pointed out an error in my spreadsheet - I wasn't throwing away the worst of the 6 entries and some teams had a really bad 6th entry. So I have updated the team scores and the ladder.

Good morning. Firstly everything is updated on the Fern including the tipping form for the current weekend. https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/ etc. Next week is the start of the TSF Cup, see the Cup page for your matchup. Winners go through plus enough people to get to 32 - so probably a draw is enough or be one of the highest scoring losers.
Last weekend was tough - difficult results to pick and for the less difficult, the margins were tough so mainly low scores all round. Exception was Nevorian who led all scorers with 48 with 6 of 7 results, missing out only by picking the Chiefs to win - as did most people. Mikedogz the only other to get over 40 points. Worst was Waynes World with just 14, picking just the first 2 games correctly.
Blues B are the only team with 2/2, leading the table with a consistent performance and 4 scores over 30, 38 from DK the best and he leads overall by 9 from Plastered Peni. Blues B beat the SunJags with Barbarian the top score of 36 and with a 23 and 22 that had to be counted.
Second are Blues A, managing to pick up the only bonus points for getting 3 or more correct margins than the opposition. TR with 37 the only shining light and with a scores of 20 from Tim and Fiamacho, one of which had to be counted. Luckily for them, the Barbarians were even worse - Rico#1 the only one over 30, Waynes World's low 14 was discarded which meant they had to include Langakali's 19.
3rd are BOP Chiefs with no Hooroo entry but a 41 from Mikedogz and no disasters they had too much for Canes Black who had a few 30+, the best was Paj with 36.
Finally the South Island registered their 1st win, ACT Crusader the best with 38 but their worst was a relatively high 29 and that was too much for Canes Gold who despite having Nevorian's 48, had nothing else over 30 and had to count Crucial's 20.

Yes always worth tipping. No tips and you get 5 less than the lowest score. And that can be pretty low given some of the appalling efforts!

2 forgot to tip for last weekend @Nevorian and @mikedogz who bizarrely had the 2 highest scores the week before.
It was a tough weekend for all. 54% picked the Highlanders, 100% for the Chiefs, 98% and 92% for Lions and Sharks and 47% for the Blues. So if you picked 4 results out of 7 you did pretty well and Laurence was the only tipper to get 5, one of the few who went for the Stormers.
At the other end of the scale, just 1 tipped result for GT12, Broughie and Waynes World. GT12 and Waynes World picked late and so missed out on the Hurricanes points - Broughie picked the Reds to beat the Crusaders.
Plastered Peni the only player to limp past 40 points - and he needed the 5 points from the Hurricanes being top scorers. He also moved into the lead overall as DK crashed and is now 2nd. Laurence & Higgins are 3rd and 4th with Paj and Hurrycanes sharing 5th spot.
In the team comp, Blues B won their 3rd game to retain their 100% record. 30+ from Gunner, Dogmeat & Caprice (and Broughie's week low of 9 could be discarded) were enough to take down South Island where Corkscrew and Smudge's respectable 37 & 34 were dragged down by all the other four players scoring less than 20.
Blues A move into 2nd, easing past the SunJags thanks to Tim with 35 and consistency from the rest - Chimoaus scored 37 for the SunJags but GT12's disaster meant Barbarian's poor 18 had to be counted.
Canes Gold and Black fought out a draw. For Gold, Plastered Peni with 42 should have been enough but Antipodean's 16 had to be included due to Nevorian's absence. Canes Black had 39, 37, 37 from Hydro11, Paj, Hurrycanes but 17 from Bones was discarded and so 19 from Cactus Jack had to be included.
Finally the Barbarians had their first win of the season. Higgins, Langakali, Victor with 30+ and Waynes World's 11 thrown away. BOP Chiefs could only muster Donsteppa's 29 as their best and with Mikedogz away, Hooroo did turn up this week but scored only 12.
