@kiwipie That sounds ok as there are a fair number with the Canes - MP game as the widest, not to mention highest and lowest scorers. You might want to keep the closest match still operative as no one would have picked the MP game for that so unlikely anyone to be disadvantaged there.

Crucial had the high score of 57 for the weekend, the only person to pick all 5 games (and only he and mikedogz picked the Chiefs to win). A score of 40 or more was a solid effort. Antipodean managed 47 for second best score and Canes4lfe was 3rd with 46 to take the lead overall, 5 clear of Plastered Peni with Triple T, Higgins & Neale Davies completing the top 5.
The BOP Chiefs are the only unbeaten team and top of the table after defeating the SunJags as Canes Gold took down the Barbarians despite being a player short. Canes Gold are up to 2nd and the battle for the top 4 is between 6 teams with South Island and Blues B trailing.

@kiwiwomble It is not that hard. Just use simple guidelines like picking the Blues and Crusaders to win each week and the Drua, Rebels, and Manu Pacifica to lose each week and bingo you are almost there with a perfect round!
OK I'm making the call to have a bye week for tipping this week - with all 3 of the original NZ games postponed and a different game included, it is just getting too hard. Let's reconvene next week.

A low scoring weekend as there were almost no points scored for the category picks and nobody went 6/6 given the Canes defeat. https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/
Top scorer was Kruse with 44 who was one of 5 who picked 5/6 (the others were Hydro11, John Nolan, Victor & JK). If you forgot to pick you scored a big fat zero as Stockcar86 managed to score only 4 points with a full set of picks - simply outstanding! That is a low score that will be tough to beat.
Canes4 life still leads by 4 from Hydro11 who shot up to 2nd with Hurrycanes up to 3rd. Only 35 points covers the top 25 so plenty of opportunity to rise fast. 4th to 19th is just 13 points.
The BOP Chiefs continued their unbeaten run, leadingt from the Barbarians with Canes Gold in 3rd and the SunJags holding the other playoff spot.
The tipping form is live for the weekend ahead, as there are only 5 games there is a double your points option added in.

Quite a variation in scoring as the double point jeopardy and category picks were great for some people and not so good for others. Tim profited the most with 66, to move up from 15th to 2nd overall. 62 for Hydro11, Winger & Richie and 61 for John Nolan were next best.
Hydro11 is the new leader taking over from Canes4life with Donsteppa and Tim in second equal 13 behind. 2nd spot to 12th is just 7 points so it is really easy to move into the top 10 or move out of it.
Wins for the BOP Chiefs and Barbarians keep them at 1 and 2 on the ladder, the next 4 are separated by just 3 points and are battling to stay in or get into the top 4.

Starting with the teams comp, there are 2 more round robin games and then 4 weeks to cover 2 legged semis and finals. The Barbarians have taken over the lead with a win against Blues B while Canes Gold took down BOP Chiefs by a point to move level on points with them, 2 points off the lead. Canes Black hold the other top 4 spot but both the SunJags and Blues A can still make the top 4 with 2 wins in their final games.
It was all about the category picks this week with plenty of points on offer and fairly predictable choices. 20 points out of 20 for Tim, John Nolan, KP and Winger. Top score was 64 for the latter 3 plus Hurrycanes who along with Plasterered Peni and Fiamacho were the only ones to pick 5/5 as not many went for the Blues.
No real change at the top overall as the top 5 all scored 64 or 62.
Through to the Quarter-Finals of the Cup are Tim, Hydro11, Winger, TR, John Nolan, GT12, KP and Higgins.
