All things can be true

• Dalton was a huge loss, especially defensively
• Blues were an average team this year (not unexpected)
• Cotter lost the dressing room

For me whether or not Cotter lost the dressing room is irrelevant.

1. He was always moving on anyway
2. We made it to the semi's and didn't have the players available to progress further than that.
3. A bunch of out of favour former All Blacks or fringe All Black players in their late 20's moved overseas - as they did in other clubs.

We actually played well in the semi against the Canes.

At half time we were within a few points but we had lost AJ Lam and Caleb Clarke who were our two main attacking weapons. Christie came off at halftime. Soon after halftime Segner was also gone and BB started turning up at first receiver, Barnes went too and attack and defense crumbled with the bench.

I don't see what @landers92 has done wrong here. He's reported that there was tension behind the scenes which was also confirmed by @steven-harris and it seemed evident when Stern Vern started getting prickly with the media, notably James Parsons who happened to ask no more than a harmless question after the Hurricanes home fixture.

Yes, Papali'i will always be a loss to any Blues side, but regularly conceding 50+ points nearly every game in the last 5 suggests, that Cotter had lost the dressing room, and even leading up to our slump, we'd been making very hard work of nearly all our wins.

At the same time, he has left us in an alright space where we have a decent crop of youngsters to take us forward. We're in a rebuild, yes, but I think we'll be back pushing hard at the top in the next few seasons.

And you've got a coach in Holland who's coming from a very positive environment and will be eager to make his own stamp on the Blues side that has plenty of very good young talent.

A lot of people have said they enjoyed the information. Which has been stated by several parties now. Including the Herald.

Losing a dressing room, being refused entry to post season events. It is a fairly major issue for a coach and club.

As a forum it is great contributors like @landers92 provide intel such as this.

These types of rumours impact the club. I love the Blues as my team and as it stands these rumours are unsubstantiated. They do not benefit the Blues.

They are not good for the coach, the club, or the players involved in the club.

It reflects poorly on everyone involved. The season is over, Cotter is gone, we have a new coach, we're signing some new players, it's time to move on. Now that his time is over Cotter should be remembered as a guy that guided us to our first real title in 20 years and that's it.

There is no need for a supporter from another club to come in and keep stirring the pot.

Information is information, if you choose to believe it or not, thats up to you, but I think if the coach has lost the dressing room it is very relevant to the teams performance and morale, it is as relevant as Razor losing the dressing room for the ABs.

Information is information, if you choose to believe it or not, thats up to you, but I think if the coach has lost the dressing room it is very relevant to the teams performance and morale, it is as relevant as Razor losing the dressing room for the ABs.

The difference is there was an official investigation and review by the NZRU into the All Blacks coaching set up with interviews conducted across the entire player group, former players, and coaching group.

None of this has happened here.

You claim to be old school, yet you’re the only one in here carrying on like a 15 year old. I’ll keep posting my ‘gossip’ as so far I’m yet to be wrong and it’s appreciated by 99.99% of people on here. I really don’t care if you believe it or not but just a tip, keep it to yourself and don’t ruin the thread for everyone else.
