kumeroa to move back to tighthead and will martin promoted ?

A possibility but I think Kumeroa might be better suited to LH at this level. Will Martin hasn't really played much at NPC either but I rate him. Keran van Staden was the TH prop in the WTG and had a taste of SR.

I can't help but feel that we've missed a trick in our recruitment this year. Mafileo is okay, but we also need a new young flyhalf to have as McKenzie's successor. Losing Jacomb was a massive loss. I'd love to see us bring back Cashmore to the Chiefs area, he's a Bay boy after all.

Bovidae

The Chiefs have been very quiet but there will have to be a number of new signings to replace the departing players. I agree that Cashmore is a good chance of being Jacomb's replacement.

hasnt cashmore signed in japan

Canes4life

Brett Cameron could be an option, he’s obviously currently injured but don’t think he’s signed anywhere for 2027 yet.

Yeetyaah

Have some oil that Taha Kemara is coming home, yes he has just re-signed with the evil empire but the long term re-signing of Mo'unga potentially has him rethinking. As always, take with a grain of salt, but the oil is good.

Strange he signed to 2028,He will be in the same position with D MAC ahead of him for the next 3 years.

I heard he was happy where he was,But things change I guess.

Bovidae

DMac has a sabbatical option in 2028 so the starting 1st 5 position could be open.

Mr Fish

Can see a Japan-based 10 coming home for 2028 when McKenzie leaves - Kaleb Trask maybe?

Tiaan Falcon has just finished up with Nagoya but hasn't been playing 10.

Wonder if the noises around Mo’unga staying until 2029 have made him reconsider

@mr-fish Falcon has signed with a another Japanese club.

Tiaan has signed with Yokohama to my understanding.

Edit: Just saw the comment above lol

ARHS

Would like to see Kemara back home.

Just to clarify; are you referencing his Crusaders extension that he signed through 2028 here or do you have oil that he's instead signed a 2-year with the Chiefs?

Crusaders extension

@ploughboy Ah bugger, he's a big loss. Injury-prone but good when he could string some games together.

Really don't know what the option at 10 is. Cook-Savage is 25 and is fine but probably not the level required to be a tournament-winning flyhalf. It's a pity because the Chiefs will have a strong squad for years to come but you need a quality flyhalf to link it all together.
