Regardless of the result, nothing less than most of the coaching group handing in their carpark passes when they land back home will suffice for me. Toss out the trash

Perform badly against us and it's a real downer on which to end the year
I don't want to be too mean, but even if we win by 50 the year has ended on a real downer.
They can't redeem the year now, no matter how many points they put up. And we know they won't put them up the right way, it'll be the kind of Harlem Globetrotters rugby that gets the Walrus up in arms
i worry theyre afraid now.....and they pick a conservative team to gaurantee a good win...so all the same old faces....and they wont realise it would mean nothing, a loss with all new faces would tell us more thanexperiecned players winning a game they should win....
@Kiwiwomble If they do go with their ‘top’ team, I wonder if it’d be better to lose and hopefully force change. It’d be another rubbish record to break and would lessen the team’s reputation even further and might not lead to any change anyway but it could be for the best in the long run.

Burn it down mate, burn it to the ground
@ShaquilleOatmeal in the past i would have thought the same but we've had a few games we "should" have won and didn't now...now i think they honestly see a lost to England and say..."we cant possibly run out young or inepxerienced guys....if a team with the 2016 world player fo the year cant win no one can"

Afraid of what? What more could happen between now and the naming of the side on Thursday that hasn’t in the last 24-36 hours?
There aren’t too many that haven’t played so I expect to see them plus a few more that have been used sparingly.
Not sure about the status of Holland and Ioane.
@ACT-Crusader afraid of losing to wales...and that BB, Savea etc just had a bad one....and selecting them again will guarantee a win
i honestly think it more likely havili, christie and the like are more likely to be parachuted in than real, wholesale change...seriously...we're all expecting reece aren't we?
@Kiwiwomble shouldn't be Reece, a coach with long term vision would make sure to blood in Tangitau or Nanai-Seturo in a week like this, heck I'm pretty sure Ben smith with only a handful of super games made his debut on a northern tour sigh I miss Ted
@Grooter oh....i ageed 100%....but i have no faith razor does, i think they believe someone good from 10 years ago is more likely to regain their spark than someone on current hot form at a lower level will step up...experience...even experience at losing trumps all
To sum up the 2 years in charge, I think we pick largely the same side with a few more old heads to come in and we walk away with our usual mediocre 29-18 win like we always do against mediocre opposition.

Yep, this is the week where he trots out reward caps to the lesser squad members after his A team have covered themselves in glory beating all-comers and ensuring a grand slam.
Yuck.

GH and Hansen knew the team couldn't maintain max performance for three matches in a row.

Regardless of selection, losing to Wales would be a fucking abomination. I think we could seriously expect a new coach by Xmas.

That was Foster's fault.

The Rassie approach:
Bower/Bell/Mafileo/Lakai/Barrett/Darry/Parker/Sititi
Christie/Love/Clarke/Tupaea/Proctor/Jordan/DMacWilliams/Sami/Tosi/Holland (if fit or Lord)/RD
Ratima/Leicester/RiekoBench pack on by 50.
Certainly is innovative throwing a loosie many think is too small at lock when you've got a lock on the blindside.
Not sure Williams has been practicing his throwing either, while Taukieaho might struggle at loosehead.

@sparky maybe they did, but in NZ with current NZ strains?
That's exactly how flu jabs in the UK work, based on flus in the southern hemisphere!

We wouldn't lose to Wales even if Scott Barrett got a permanent red.
If he does give all the food bills a start, none of them will have had recent rugby nor developed an understanding of the other players. They'll be disjointed as fuck and we'll learn nothing from a stuttering performance.
Make wholesale changes and we learn nothing. Keep the changes to a reasonable number so we can see what the changes actually do.
I'd like to see the tight 5 basically remain the same (Holland back in for Lord), but with Taylor to the bench and Samisoni to start and give 30 mins of hard carries.
Loosies Savea out for Sititi.
BB right out for McKenzie with Love to fullback and Jordan to the wing. LF to the bench.

Oh good, a club level at best ref.
She'll be better than the terrible ref we had yesterday. (Setting a low bar).
Maybe, but only in the bits where she can keep up.
If we start Reece, Hollie will have to slow herself down to adjust

The coaching group or the players?
Isn’t the best result for everyone involved Wales beating the ABs (with all the experienced heads playing )? Saves one of the regions, surely.
@pakman That team is probably not too far away.
I reckon it's more likely DMac will play 10 and Love 15.
Not sure how they will use the props (and hookers), but I'd expect these to be the four (and two).
I'd probably go the way you have and have some cavalry on the bench in case of the newbies shitting the bed.
I'd like to see some Love at 10 at some point rather than 15. What a shame Narawa is injured, I reckon he'd go ok at 15 (or maybe ENS-lost opportunity to be in the squad).

Roof will be on
Every point scored against NZ will be roared on like we’re shagging the best looking girl in the bar
Every point conceded won’t matter because we’re chatting up the best looking girl in the bar
A fantastic day in store
You better hope there are some foreign women in town bro.

I was thinking the same but then remembered we couldn't even break down a 13 man Japan side last weekend.
