Jamie Vardy must have smacked in a fair whack for Leicester City but were they before or after he turned 23?

Zero. He didn't even get out of non-league until he was 25 and was 27 when he first played in the EPL. Crazy number of goals since then.

Higgins

@KiwiPie Ok, what about Gareth Bale then?

Cyclops

Probably spent a but too long injured but what about Daniel Sturridge?

dogmeat

Giggs debuted young but did he score that many goals?

28th with 25 goals

Cole is a good call - Yorke didn't become prolific until he was well past 23. 3 current players still to get.

dogmeat

Did Son come straight from South Korea? Can't remember.

From 18 he was at Hamburg then Leverkusen - joined Spurs at 23.

Ah so that counts out my next suggestion of Glenn Hoddle who must be from about 1960 but he did bang in a fair few goals for Tottenham Hotspur.
On reflection my Spurs did spend a couple of seasons in the old Div 2 in the late 70s so that probably is where I might be wrong..

Clive Allen scored a lot of goals for Spurs, Klinsmann too but he arrived later in age

Ian Rush?
Adebayor?

Adebayor?

This is Premier League only. So if you're born before 1970 you're too old. Adebayor no but Anelka is tucked away in 28th spot with 25 goals.

Of the 3 current players, all 3 had underwhelming seasons for one reason or another.

canefan

Some of the class of '92 must have come close. Giggs? Beckham? Scoles?

Raheem Sterling?

Bovidae

Chris Sutton for either the 1996 or 1997.

Edit: I thought it was the year they achieved that feat so 1973.

Close but 13th on 40 goals.

Yes Sutton is in - was only 21 when he went to Blackburn and scored 25 for Norwich the season before. (note the years are the years of birth)

3 left to get - the one born in 1978 is the hardest. Of the younger ones, one moved back to the EPL at the start of this season and the other moved clubs in January.

MajorStokes

I thought Milner might be in there but none of those ages work out.

The 1996 one must have been the Jan club mover.

Alli?

Absolutely no clue on the '78 born one.
