Latham is this years Southee, there on reputation and doing his overall record no good by hanging around
one 50+ score in there (so better than I remembered), would I be right in saying though he hasnt hit triple figures anywhere in internationals since that massive 200 odd 3 years+ ago (sorry should search myself lol)
I hope he finds some form again, but it looks pretty bad right now

That guys is cricket's answer to David Havili. A solid player, able to fill many roles, but ultimately one who goes missing when the heat really comes on.

Across 9 ODI Innings against AUS/SA/IND/ENG he has a high score of 33
Dave is a lot more successful at cricket than rugby, who knew!

Agree. I was impressed with him during the 20/20 season. If he has the doggedness of his uncle Dave to go with his hitting ability he could turn out to be a very good player.
By my standards I watched quite a bit of the 20/20 this year. I was heartened by some of the young talent coming through. I think we have some good players in the pipeline.

@Chris-B Ben Sears has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury.
He is replaced in the Champions Trophy squad by Jacob Duffy.
@Daffy-Jaffy Aha - hadn't heard that, but actually, I'm not too disappointed.
I'm inclined to think Duffy is a better option at present.

Don't get me wrong, it's great to see the likes of Tom and Devon in the runs. We need them firing if we have a chance to win the trophy

Let's agree to disagree. He's not really under selection pressure due to the set up of the squad. Rachin will come back in for Conway or Young.
Proof will be in the pudding of how Latham goes in the Champions Trophy.
Agree, happy to see Latham in the runs after his meagre run, even if helped in that innings. Conway also scored runs again so confidence gained from time in the middle is good.
Proof will be the tournament though, but great confidence for the squad regardless for winning
